Public Works
Responsibilities
The Public Works Department is responsible for the maintenance of public facilities and the provision of utility services. Duties include street maintenance including sweeping, traffic signs, patching, snow removal, park maintenance, building maintenance, storm sewer maintenance, and the operation, maintenance, and repair of all water facilities including water mains and sanitary sewer main and lift stations within the Township. The Public Works Building is located at 1283 Hammond Road, right next to the Township Offices at 1281 Hammond Road.

Streets
There are approximately 70 miles of Township streets. The Public Works Department is responsible for maintaining Township roads.

Utilities
White Bear Township provides water and sewer utilities and storm water maintenance. Billing is performed by the Township's Finance Department and the Township's Public Works Department provides utility maintenance.
