Township Clean Up Day is On

SpringCleanup[1]

The Townships annual clean-up day will be held at Otter Lake Elementary School, 1401 County Road H-2 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event is open to Township residents only & is free. Please observe the procedure listed below:

  • Check-In:
    • You will be required to show ID & a utility bill. Please keep your window rolled up to minimize exposure between the worker & yourself. Once residency has been verified, you will be asked to move to an “On-Deck” location.
  • “On-Deck” Staging Location
    • This is the ONLY point in the process where you will be allowed outside of your vehicle. There will be circles outlined on the ground that you should not leave that will keep plenty of social distancing between other residents. The purpose of this staging location is so that you can unhook straps/unlock padlocks, or do anything you need to do to prepare so Republic workers can offload your items into their trucks. Once everything is completed, you can go back into your vehicle & wait for the next available truck.
  • Removal Process
    • Please stay in your vehicle for the entire process. Republic employees will offload all the items from your vehicle with no help needed from you. Republic employees will be allowed to remove items from the trunk of an SUV or minivan, but will not be allowed to grab items from the backseat of any vehicle. Once everything has been taken out you may leave.

Republic Services workers will be required to wear normal PPE that they would for a clean-up & will be required to wear a facial mask for the entire clean-up with no exceptions. We will also have sanitizing equipment on site so we can disinfect any potential surface that might require it. Residents are strongly encouraged to wear a mask for their protection.
