White Bear Township Water Customers are being asked to limit outdoor sprinkling / irrigation to one day per week amid ongoing drought conditions. As of August 17 White Bear Township is in a restrictive phase as designated by the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (MN DNR).
While White Bear Township Water Customers have continued to do their part in following the Odd/Even watering restrictions, additional efforts are required to comply with MN DNR's statewide drought plan. If this does not result in adequate demand reduction or the Mississippi River at Brooklyn Center reaches the Emergency Phase as defined in the State of Minnesota's Statewide Drought Plan, a total ban of outdoor water use will be implemented.
Keep watch for water conservation tips to assist with water demand reduction.
